Installation

Currently n2n can only be installed via Composer. Further variants are in progress.

Composer

We assume that you already have Composer installed. If not, you can find instructions here.

With the following command you create an n2n project with the latest stable n2n version.

composer create-project n2n/n2n-skeleton your-project-name

Alternatively, you can also create an n2n project with the very latest n2n version using the command below. This can be a stable version, but also an alpha, beta or RC version.

composer create-project n2n/n2n-skeleton=7.1.x your-project-name --prefer-dist --stability=dev

Afterwards you will be asked whether you want to install the modules n2n/rocket and n2n/page. You do not need these two modules for the n2n quick start, but you do need them for the follow-ups Rocket quick start and Page quick start.

You can also add these two modules at a later point in time by adding the two "require": entries n2n/rocket and n2n/page to composer.json.

"require": {
...
"n2n/rocket": "1.1.*",
"n2n/page": "1.3.*"
}

If you created the project with n2n/n2n-skeleton=7.1.x (the second command in this section), then use the following "require": entries:

"require": {
...
"n2n/rocket": "1.1.x-dev",
"n2n/page": "1.3.x-dev"
}

Then run composer update to install these two modules.
